This SMS Privacy Policy describes how Mass TV Media, LLC ("Mass TV Media", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares mobile phone numbers and text-message content collected through our seminar registration forms at myssplan.net and yourestateplan.net. This policy supplements our general Privacy Policy.
What we collect
When you register for one of our free educational workshops at myssplan.net or yourestateplan.net, we collect:
- Your mobile phone number (entered on the registration form)
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your registered seminar event identifier, date, and venue
- The date and time of each text message we send to you
- Any text-message replies you send to us, including STOP, HELP, or other text content
How we use mobile information
Your mobile phone number is used solely to send you transactional appointment reminders for the specific seminar event you registered for. Specifically:
- One reminder approximately 24 hours before your event
- One reminder approximately 2 hours before your event
Maximum frequency: 2 messages per registration, per event. We do not use your mobile phone number for marketing messages, sales solicitations, or any communication unrelated to the specific seminar event you registered for.
Mobile information sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade mobile phone numbers or any SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We share mobile information only with:
- Twilio Inc., our SMS service provider, solely for the purpose of delivering the appointment reminder messages described above. Twilio is bound by its own privacy policy at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
- Our affiliated independent fiduciary advisor partners hosting the seminar event you registered for, solely so they can confirm attendance — no marketing use is permitted.
Opt-in
You opt in to receive SMS reminders by submitting the registration form at
https://myssplan.net/events/{event} or
https://yourestateplan.net/events/{event}. The form displays the
following disclosure: "By providing your phone number, you consent to
receive up to 2 SMS event reminders. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply
STOP to opt out." with links to this SMS Privacy Policy and our
SMS Terms and Conditions.
SMS opt-in is not a condition of registration. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP at any time to cancel.
Opt-out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. After replying STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS reminders for any event you have registered for or register for in the future, unless you opt back in.
You can also reply HELP to receive support information.
Data retention
Your mobile phone number and SMS history are retained only as long as needed to deliver the reminders for the specific event you registered for, plus 90 days for support and audit purposes. After that, your mobile phone number is removed from our active SMS list.
Children
We do not knowingly collect mobile information from children under 18. Our seminars are educational events for adults planning retirement, typically ages 50 and above.
